[About the design]
The layout of Naman Hay Hay Restaurant is designed to accommodate flexible event arrangements. The main dining hall, with its bamboo domes and conic columns, can host large groups, while more intimate areas are created by the strategic placement of these columns. This allows for a variety of dining experiences, from large gatherings to private meals.
The bamboo used in the construction is locally sourced and treated using traditional methods, including soaking in water and fumigation, to enhance its durability. The roof structure is covered with transparent composite sheeting and local thatch, allowing natural light to filter through skylights and illuminate the dining space.
The restaurant also features outdoor dining areas, with two rounded shapes immersed in the pool facing the sea, providing a picturesque setting for guests to enjoy their meals under the sky.
